Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) Plc has recorded a remarkable 131% surge in its profit for the first half of 2025, showcasing a strong rebound in Nigeria’s aviation ground handling sector.
The company’s half-year financials, released to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), show profit after tax leaping from ₦400 million in the corresponding period of 2024 to an impressive ₦925 million as of June 30, 2025. This exceptional growth is attributed to increased operational efficiency, higher client volumes, and strategic investments in infrastructure and technology.
SAHCO’s revenue also saw a notable rise, climbing from ₦5.2 billion to ₦7.8 billion within the review period. Analysts say the growth mirrors increased airline activity and a recovering aviation industry buoyed by relaxed global travel restrictions and improved passenger traffic.
In a statement accompanying the results, SAHCO’s management reaffirmed its commitment to delivering top-notch ground handling services while pursuing expansion into new markets and service verticals.
With this stellar performance, SAHCO strengthens its position as a key player in Nigeria’s aviation logistics chain and a stock to watch in the transport sector.
