St. Kitts and Nevis PM Invites Nigerian Investors to IGS 2025 Summit

The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has extended a formal invitation to Nigerian investors and industry leaders to participate in the second edition of the Investment Gateway Summit (IGS), scheduled for May 31 to June 3, 2025.1 This four-day event is designed to serve as a strategic platform for Nigerian investors seeking to expand their presence in the Caribbean, particularly within the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew has personally invited Nigerian investors, including those who have engaged with the nation through its Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme, to attend the summit. He emphasized the nation’s growth and the spirit of unity among its citizens, recalling the success of the inaugural IGS in 2024.

The 2025 Summit will facilitate discussions, workshops, and networking events for investors, economic citizens, and industry leaders from around the world.2 It aims to showcase investment opportunities in sectors such as technology, clean energy, and sustainable development, aligning with St.3 Kitts and Nevis’ goal of becoming a Sustainable Island State.

The summit’s theme, “Investment to Impact: Our Journey to a Sustainable Island State,” highlights the country’s commitment to responsible development and global sustainability goals. Nigerian investors are considered key stakeholders in this evolving relationship.

Earlier this year, Prime Minister Drew and CIU Chairman Calvin St. Juste visited Nigeria to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties, laying the groundwork for broader collaboration between Africa and the Caribbean.

Registrations for the 2025 IGS are now open, welcoming a diverse range of participants. The summit will provide insights into the country’s CBI Programme, emphasizing transparency and sustainable outcomes. It will also offer networking opportunities and explore sectors like real estate and infrastructure.4

The growing synergy between Nigeria and St. Kitts and Nevis is based on shared values and an ambitious outlook for development.5 The summit aims to further this collaboration, positioning the Federation as a strategic partner in the Caribbean.
