Market Capitalization Records Marginal Loss of N4 Billion

The Nigerian Exchange concluded the trading session on Friday with a negative close, as the All-Share Index experienced a depreciation of -0.01%.

The market capitalization of equities also witnessed a slight decline, with a marginal loss of N4 billion. It closed at N32.237 trillion, representing a decrease of 0.01% compared to the previous trading session’s value of N32.241 trillion.

Among the listed companies, Unity Bank Plc (-9.84%) emerged as the top loser. On the other hand, LivingTrust Plc secured the position of the most traded equity in terms of volume.

The market breadth ended in a negative territory, with RTBRISCOE (10.00%) leading the gainers and Unity Bank (-9.84%) leading the losers. Additionally, LivingTrust Plc remained the most traded equity in terms of volume throughout the session.

Today’s trading volume witnessed a 1.94% increase compared to the previous day, with a total of 627.87 million units of shares being traded.
