MTN Nigeria has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first African brand to win the prestigious International Airship Altitude Award. The award, presented annually by Airship, a leading mobile engagement platform, recognizes brands excelling in delivering personalized and effective in-app experiences.

The Altitude Awards celebrate mobile strategies, app experiences, and cross-channel campaigns submitted by Airship customers globally. Judges assess each submission based on criteria such as performance, amplification, innovation, ease of use, and overall contribution to the mobile ecosystem.

At this year’s awards held at the Mobile Leaders Forum in London, MTN Nigeria emerged victorious in the ‘Acquisition Category.’ This category recognizes brands leveraging exceptional acquisition strategies to drive app downloads. MTN Nigeria’s win marks a significant achievement, with 12 companies nominated from various continents worldwide, including Warner Media, Orange, and Regiocast.

Expressing delight at the recognition, Ugonwa Nwoye, Chief Customer Relations Officer at MTN Nigeria, stated, “Winning the Airship Altitude Award is a tremendous honor for MTN Nigeria, reflecting our dedication to providing innovative and customer-centric solutions.
