Gusau, Zamfara State The Federal Airports Authority and state officials have announced that the ongoing development of the Gusau Airport will significantly deepen investment opportunities across Zamfara and the wider North-West region.
Speaking during an inspection of the project on Thursday, a senior government official said the airport is designed to enhance economic activity, strengthen security logistics, and attract both domestic and international investors.
“The Gusau Airport is not just a transport facility it is an economic gateway,” the official stated. “Once completed, it will create new opportunities for trade, agriculture, mining, and tourism.”
